Everything worked Loudon's way Monday as the Redskins defeated District 4(2A) rival Stone Memorial 10-0 at home.
Redskin southpaw hurler Blake McNew tossed a complete game shutout, striking out eight Panthers while allowing only three hits.
The senior also paced the team in hitting, going 1-2 with a walk and two runs batted in (RBI).
Dain McNabb and Jordan Purdy also contributed RBIs to the winning effort.
After the Redskins enjoyed a two-run opening inning, Panther starter Cole Stickler held the offense down from there.
McNew never allowed Stone Memorial to put together any real threats, though, and the Loudon offense came to life in the fourth.
The Redskins sent eight players across the plate in the period, blowing the game wide open and sealing the victory.
The Redskins, who improved their district record to 4-1 with the win, traveled to Stone Memorial Tuesday for a rematch with the Panthers.
They return to the diamond Wednesday for a home date with Scott County.
After that, they'll hit the road Thursday to face Sweetwater.
Wednesday's game is set for 5 p.m. and Thursday's is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.

A late rally by the Redskins secured their second win of the season, 14-8, over Kingston Tuesday afternoon in Loudon.
Trailing 8-7, the Redskins posted seven runs in the sixth inning to take a 14-8 lead that the Yellow Jackets never recovered from.
Blake Cosner and Jordan Purdy walked to open the inning and then Blake McNew loaded the bases after his sacrifice bunt attempt was mishandled. Dain McNabb knotted the game with a free pass that scored Cosner and then Joey Schultz put Loudon on top with his second double of the day.
Jordan McCallie then drew a walk to reload the bases before a Ben Curtis comebacker accounted for the first out of the inning.
The Redskin offense wasn't done, though, as Tyler Campbell coaxed a walk to force in a run and then Matthew Wallace hit a sacrifice fly.
The final two runs of the game came on a single by Cosner. McCallie closed out Cosner's win on the mound and the Redskins completed the season sweep of Kingston. The Redskins traveled to Oliver Springs for a contest with Greenback Friday and return home to host Stone Memorial Monday.
