I am very excited to be a part of the Loudon County School System and more specifically to be involved with the Loudon County Alternative School!
Currently, I am in my 8th year of education. My previous experience is with the Oak Ridge City School system. My positions there include being a T.A. in the English and Science Dept., in-school and after-school detention teacher, secretary with the district Special Education Dept. and most recently I was a T.A. in a CDC classroom at Oak Ridge High School.
I obtained my M.Ed from LMU May of 2018 with an emphasis in K-5 education and at the same time obtained my certification to teach English in grades 6-12. August of 2000 I graduated with a B.A. in Creative Writing from the University of Tennessee and I also graduated from Pellissippi State with my Associates degree in 1995. I grew up in Maryville and Greenback and I am a 1991 alumni of Maryville High School.
We are going to have a great year! I expect much out of my students. I know they are quite capable of learning and I am here to come up alongside of them in this journey. Please contact me with any questions you may have. Let's have a AWESOME year!
