Good afternoon, Eaton families! Here is your Monday Minute for the week of November 4th.
(1) Remember there is no school tomorrow due to the election. We look forward to seeing everyone back on Wednesday.
(2) The Rocketeer went home last week and upload to our website https://5il.co/30k5q. Please check it out for a message from the office, lunch menus, Veteran’s day information, and the family engagement activity.
(3) This months family engagement activity is to disguise a turkey. We will decorate the front foyer with the turkeys after they present them in class. The turkeys are due November 13th.
(4) Wear orange on Friday to support UT’s game on Saturday.
(5) Veteran’s Day is around the corner. We want students to wear red, white, and blue. We will have a parade at 10:00, 4th grade program at 6:30pm, and a slide show honoring our Veteran’s.
(6) Invite veterans to meet at the church at 9:30ish to line up and then our SRO’s will lead the cars through a parade route. They will drive by NMS and EES students thanking them for their service.
(7) If you have a Veteran in your family, please fill out our Microsoft form and upload a picture of your Veteran with their name and how they are related to one of our students. (9) P/T conferences are around the corner so please be sure to sign up for a time. Our goal is to have 80% of parents show up for in-person conferences on November 14th from 3:30-6:30.
