Good afternoon, Eaton families! Here is your Monday Minute for the week of October 23rd. 1. Thank you for a wonderful Read-a-thon and Carnival. We will distribute prizes as they arrive. We will send home an update about t-shirt orders, the surprise field trip, and guest announcers soon. 2. We are having a staff training after school tomorrow so there will be no LAUNCH on Tuesday. 3. On Thursday last week we sent home a flyer for “Principals Night In” this week. We hope you will join us. We will have dinner, gather parent input using a graffiti wall activity, and have a presentation from the Loudon County Sheriff's Office about technology safety for young children. Please RSVP, by Wednesday at 2:00, if you will be able to attend so we can plan appropriately for food and childcare. Thank you to Life Bridge Church for providing dinner Thursday evening. The carnival is finally here. We can't wait to see everyone tonight from 5-8. Don't forget the silent auction is closing at 7:30 instead of 8:00 this year.

Good afternoon parents. I want to give you a few reminders about this afternoon’s carnival and auction. If your student bought a presale wristband or punch card, those items will be at the will call booth on the basketball court. If your student got a fast pass, as part of their read-a-thon prize, those will also be at the will call booth on the basketball court. We are asking that everybody remain on the track portion of the carnival and not walking through the middle of the soccer field. We do believe it’s going to be a little muddy out there so we would like to avoid mud on any of the inflatables. Our auction will be closing at 7:30 so please do not forget to place your final bids before 7:30. You will be able to purchase and take your items between 7:30 and 8 o’clock. If you are not in attendance or have already left by 7:30 you are more than welcome to come at the beginning of next week to pick up your items and pay for them. Thank you thank you again for a wonderful read-a-thon and carnival. We would not be able to do these events without the amazing support of our family, community, and staff. INFLATABLE SPOTLIGHT - Hippo Chow Down Object of the game: Each of the 4 players start from their back wall and race to the pond of balls in the center of the game to retrieve as many balls as possible and return them to the mesh bag at their starting wall. Once all of the balls are chow’d down, the player with the most balls in their bag is the winner! Come out to our Carnival on Friday, the 20th, from 5-8pm!
