Happy Birthday to MSgt David "Top" Dukes. He has committed his career to service. He valiantly served his country and daily serves students. He has been instrumental in building the Loudon High School NJROTC program. We can't thank him enough for his leadership and the example he provides. We wish him a happy birthday and congratulate him on being recognized as the Tennessee VFW Educator of the Year!

Students had a hands-on experience making Mamie Eisenhower’s famous Million Dollar Fudge, a recipe shared by the former First Lady during her time in the White House.
This activity helped students connect history, life skills, and teamwork—plus it was a delicious way to honor Presidents’ Day!
Students had a great college visit at Tennessee Wesleyan today. We thank them for their hospitality in hosting our students.
Congratulations Emma W. for being chosen as the Northwestern Mutual Player of the Week presented by Brandon Millard. Emma has been dominate in the post, including a game winning put back against Scott County in overtime. Not to mention, she was recognized as an Honorable Mention District selection. Today we want to recognize Officer Lane and Officer Harig for all they do to keep us safe and build relationships with the students. Today we want to wish Mrs. Thomas a happy birthday! She is a culinary genius. She is able to provide real life skills to students that they are able to implement every day. On top of that, she and her students provide quality service to the community through numerous catering events and the school through Friday lunches. We thank her for all she does for students and wish her a happy birthday!

Happy birthday Mrs. Young! There aren't many that advocate for students like Mrs. Young. She is committed to helping her students succeed. She holds high standards and does not compromise. She pushes her students to their full potential and helps them reach their learning goals. We thank Mrs. Young for her dedication to students and to LHS, and we wish her a happy birthday!
School Counselors do so much to support students and staff. We have two of the best. Dr. Kile serves our freshmen and sophomore classes while Mrs. Waldron serves Juniors and Seniors. They ensure students stay on track for graduation while providing countless other services. We are grateful for all they do and wish them a Happy School Counselors Week!

Officer Harig was chosen as the Staff Member of the Month. He was selected for his ability to be stealthy and for building great rapport with students. In addition, he plays basketball against students during PE, especially his arch nemesis, James F.
Maggie T. was selected as the student of the month for her honesty and integrity. She found a large sum of money and turned it in to the office, which was returned to the rightful owner.
Torie B. was chosen as the student of the month for her great attitude and hard work ethic in class. Way to go monthly winners!
