Addie is a volleyball player that has stepped up significantly and is very coachable. She continues to take on bigger roles and has been an effective player down the stretch. Congratulations Addie!

On Tuesday, September 30, the Seniors will be taking the official ACT retake on the computer here at Loudon High School and Juniors will be taking a practice test on paper. Juniors will need to bring their own calculator if they wish to use it on the practice test.
It is vital that Senior students update and turn off their computers completely this weekend to ensure their computers update. Students can go to TestNav on their computer, run the "App Check," and access the practice test to ensure it is working properly.
On September 30, please make sure that Senior and Junior students are at school by 7:45 a.m. and that the Seniors have their computers fully charged. Please have Senior students bring their computer chargers on that day too. Students will check in at the table in the main hall. Cell phones and smart watches will be prohibited and need to stay out of the building. Please refer to the images or act.org to the prohibited items for testing.
Once the Seniors and Juniors complete the ACT, they will be dismissed to go home.
Sophomores and Freshmen will rotate through different study halls in the morning beginning at 8:15 a.m. This will be a great opportunity to get caught up on any missing work. After lunch, they will remain at school and will be going to their normal classes in a shortened period and will be dismissed as normal at 3:15 p.m.

If no ID, students must get a verification letter from the LHS office before going to the game.
Minors under 18 not affiliated with either school must be with a parent/guardian.

🎒 Allowed Items:
Bags must be clear OR smaller than 4.5” x 6.5”.
No face coverings of any kind allowed.
📍 Assigned Areas:
Stay in designated sections.
No access to fields or restricted areas.

Happy birthday to Mrs. Norman! Mrs. Norman graciously joined us just after the school year began, but she has hit the ground running and hasn't missed a beat. Mrs. Norman says she loves teaching because she can help inspire students to build a successful foundation in health care and help them gain confidence in continuing their skills and goals in the healthcare field. She's only 1 minute away from breaking school record. She has grit and determination, finishes every workout, and she out performs her competitors.
It’s Homecoming at Loudon High School. We hope to see many alumni this evening. The homecoming parade will take place at 6:00 PM from the County Office building and will proceed down Mulberry Street to the high school. The football game will kick off at 7:30 PM with the crowing of the Queen taking place at halftime.

Congratulations to Cooper C. For being selected as the Northwestern Mutual Player of the Week presented by Brandon Millard. Cooper shot a 38 in the match last week against LC. It was the lowest score of the day and led to a Redskin victory over Lenoir City.
We remember 9/11 and lives that were lost on that dreadful day. We are proud of the Loudon High School NJROTC for representing LHS at the annual 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb and we pause to remember this day and honor the memory of those heroes. Bravo Zulu.
Does your child stay for Launch here at Loudon High School? Come to our parent meeting on Thursday, September 18 at 4:00. We will be covering the Launch handbook, policies, and more.
On Friday September 12, the Junior class will be taking the ASVAB for the Every Student Succeeds Act to create ready graduates. This is intended to provide students with data that can assist them in their career and college choices.
Juniors will check in on the big side of the cafeteria at 8:05. They need to have their computers updated and fully charged. Once students complete their exam, they will report to their normal schedule.
All other classes will remain on a normal schedule Friday, September 12.
We are so thankful to Good Neighbors Shoppe for their incredibly generous $10,000 grant. This funding will do so many amazing things to supplement our academic programming at LHS!
