The cross country team had their last race of the season this morning. Everyone had a great race on a hilly course! Congrats to two of our girls for placing in the top 3!

Happy birthday to Ms. Addie Parkhurst! She is one of our fabulous café workers and we hope she has a fabulous day! 🎂🎉🎈

Help us wish the biggest, happiest birthday to Mrs. Fray! Have the VERY best day! 🥳🎂

The LES cross country team raced today at Victor Ashe Park. Five of our runners ran a personal best time, and three students ran the mile in under 8 minutes! Excellent job to all our runners today!

Thank you Adopt A Class for our reading bears!!!!

First grade wrapped up our unit on the human body by becoming surgeons while playing Operation, drawing their life sized body systems, creating their own food pyramids, and building puzzles.

Adopt A Class generously donated reading bears to each first grader at LES. Each student fluffed their bear, named it, and spent the day reading to it. Students were excited about bringing their bears home to read to them. Thank you Adopt A Class for encouraging a love of reading in our students!
