
Greenback art students painted a snow plow for the Loudon County Highway Department. The snow plows are being featured in Christmas parades throughout the county.



Students on the bus 21 route will be picked up 20-30 minutes late on Thursday morning, Dec. 5. No information is available at this time regarding the afternoon route for bus 21.


Bus 21 will run 1 hour late this afternoon (12/4/24). You may want to consider making arrangements for your child to go home as a car rider today. Call the school office if you are making a change in how your child is getting home.

Students in grades PreK - 5 will come home today with paperwork regarding our annual fundraiser, The Cherokee Stomp walk-a-thon! This is the only fundraiser we hope to do this school year, so we need it to be a SUCCESS! Please consider supporting our school by participating in this year's event. The walk-a-thon will take place on Nov. 1, 2024.


Our FFA members are selling mums today and the Greenback Farmers Market. Go visit and grab your last minute fall decorations. 10:00-1:00 at the Greenback Depot.

Due to forecasted weather and field conditions, Friday’s football game and homecoming ceremony have been cancelled. The homecoming ceremony will take place next week, prior to kick-off, beginning at 6:45 PM. The homecoming dance will still take place this Saturday, Sept. 28.


Due to maintenance at the RR crossing on Hwy 95, students who ride Bus 17 second load will be leaving the school around 3:20 this afternoon Thursday, September 27, 2024.

The powder puff dodgeball tournament that was scheduled for tonight, 9.25.24, has been canceled.
