Happy birthday Mrs. Young! There aren't many that advocate for students like Mrs. Young. She is committed to helping her students succeed. She holds high standards and does not compromise. She pushes her students to their full potential and helps them reach their learning goals. We thank Mrs. Young for her dedication to students and to LHS, and we wish her a happy birthday!
School Counselors do so much to support students and staff. We have two of the best. Dr. Kile serves our freshmen and sophomore classes while Mrs. Waldron serves Juniors and Seniors. They ensure students stay on track for graduation while providing countless other services. We are grateful for all they do and wish them a Happy School Counselors Week!

Mr. Bivens was chosen as the Teacher of the Month. He was chosen for his patience and work ethic, as well as his commitment to the school and community in extra-curricular activities.
Officer Harig was chosen as the Staff Member of the Month. He was selected for his ability to be stealthy and for building great rapport with students. In addition, he plays basketball against students during PE, especially his arch nemesis, James F.
Maggie T. was selected as the student of the month for her honesty and integrity. She found a large sum of money and turned it in to the office, which was returned to the rightful owner.
