Peyton Finchum and Lily Rose were selected as TNSTRONG Student Ambassadors from the Health and Wellness Club led by Ellie Sexton and Sarah Kile. Peyton attended the statewide training in Franklin, TN. The TNSTRONG is a youth-led, statewide movement committed to raising awareness of the dangers of tobacco and fighting against the tobacco industry's influence on Tennessee youth. Students who apply and are accepted as ambassadors serve for two years, playing an active role within their communities, counties, and statewide. The Health and Wellness club partners with the Tennessee Department of Health and TVA Credit Union to launch campaigns about Nicotine cessation and suicide prevention.

Best of luck to our NJROTC cadets as they depart to Central High School for their drill competition. Bravo Zulu Redskins!

Good morning families,
EMS was called to the school for a medical situation. Any family that needed to be notified has been notified. The school day remained normal and as scheduled. Thank you for your understanding.

Today, LOCO Construction had their BXTN building competition . This includes a framing, plumbing, and electrical team that competes against 20 other schools to build a room to print in 5 hours. This year we had an all girls framing team . They took home 3rd place and were highly praised by the judges and other male instructors!
They built this room with hammer and nails which would be a challenge for anyone. Only a few teams completed the framework but they were the first team to finish.

We would like to thank all of our Veterans for their service and sacrifice! Thank you to our own First Sergeant Neill Sevelius for sharing with our student body today.
We also thank Lieutenant Commander William Jackson who shared with our U.S. History class about his experience with the Hydrogen bomb and his time in the Korean War.
Thank you gentlemen for your service and taking time to speak with our students this Veterans Day!

The annual NJROTC Pass and Review.
This is a ceremonial presentation of the company for inspecting officers and guests of honor. Bravo Zulu.

The Loudon High Guidance Office and Educational Talent Search are sponsoring an FSA ID Help Event on Tuesday, November 12 from 4:00 until 6:00 in the Main Hallway. Remember, both a student and a parent must have a verified FSA ID to complete the FAFSA in the spring. We will be here to help both students and parents set up their FSA IDs. All participants will be entered in a drawing for a $25 gift card.
